The purpose of the UCW is to enjoy Christian fellowship and to work together on projects raising funds for our church and the greater local community. Our main fundraising outreach, is a monthly breakfast, where we interact with members of the church and the community in great fellowship of conversation over food and coffee. This is a welcomed event by young and old alike.
We support a wide variety of local organizations such as OYA, Osgoode Care Centre, Osgoode food Cupboard, Naomi House, Centre 507, and other local events taking place. We also contribute to the United Church Mission & Service fund. Part of our funds support the ongoing work of Osgoode-Kars United Church.
The UCW meet on the first Monday of each month in the meeting room in the Osgoode location at 1 pm. All women who attend Osgoode-Kars United Church are members and they support our various events as they are able.
